4  Can I disable the IR at night on Hikvision TVI 3 camera ?
Yes, enter the Camera OSD menu and go into the main menu, enter the day/night sub menu where you will see an option labelled INFRARED, set this option to CLOSE to disable the infra red output in periods of low light - remember to save your changes before exiting the OSD menu.
5  What is the approx. field of view for Hikvision 3MP TVI 3.0 F series cameras ?
The F series cameras have a different aspect ratio therefore the field of view differs from the D series, the apporx filed of view for the F series is 80 degree for 2.8mm lens models and 60 degree for 3.6mm lens models.
6  How many IP cameras can I connect to a DS-7200HQHI-F series TVI DVR ?
The 7200HQHI-F series TVI DVR supports a maximum IP camera resultion of 1080P and it is possible to connect 1 x IP camera to the DS-7204HQHI-F DVR and 2 x IP cameras to the DS-7208HQHI-F and DS-7216HQHI-F DVRs.
7  How many IP cameras can I add to the DS-7200HUHI-F series TVI DVR ?
The 7200HUHI-F series DVR supports IP camera resolutions up to 4MP and it is possible to connect 2 x IP cameras to all the models in this range.
8  What monitor outputs does the DS-7300HUHI-F series TVI DVR have and what are the resolutions?
The DS-7300HUHI series TVI DVR has 1 x CVBS output, 1 x VGA output and 2 xHDMI outputs - the VGA output is mirrored to HDMI1 and shows the same display. HDMI1 and VGA show images up to 1080p, HDMI2 shows images upto 4K and the CVBS shows PAL 704 x 576 resolution images.
9  I have lost mouse control and OSD icons from the HDMI monitor output of my TVI DVR ! how to I get them back ?
Connect a test monitor to the BNC monitor output of the DVR, enter the OSD menu of the DVR and go into the configuration sub menu, on the top left corner of the screen click on the option more settings and inside you will see an option labelled menu output mode, change this to HDMI apply the settings change and then reboot the DVR.
10  What is zero channel encoding and how do I configure it?
Zero channel encoding allows a single multiplexed stream of many channels to be transmitted from the NVR across a remote connection using web browser or CMS program which is benfical for locations with tight bandwidth.
Steps:

Enter the Live View Settings interface. Menu > Configuration > Live View

Select the Channel-Zero Encoding tab.

Check the checkbox after Enable Channel Zero Encoding.

Configure the Frame Rate, Max. Bitrate Mode and Max. Bitrate.
After you set the Channel-Zero encoding, you can get a view in the remote client or web browser of multi-channels in one screen
