2  How many IP cameras can I connect to a DS-7200HQHI-F series TVI DVR ?
The 7200HQHI-F series TVI DVR supports a maximum IP camera resultion of 1080P and it is possible to connect 1 x IP camera to the DS-7204HQHI-F DVR and 2 x IP cameras to the DS-7208HQHI-F and DS-7216HQHI-F DVRs.
3  How many IP cameras can I add to the DS-7200HUHI-F series TVI DVR ?
The 7200HUHI-F series DVR supports IP camera resolutions up to 4MP and it is possible to connect 2 x IP cameras to all the models in this range.
4  What monitor outputs does the DS-7300HUHI-F series TVI DVR have and what are the resolutions?
The DS-7300HUHI series TVI DVR has 1 x CVBS output, 1 x VGA output and 2 xHDMI outputs - the VGA output is mirrored to HDMI1 and shows the same display. HDMI1 and VGA show images up to 1080p, HDMI2 shows images upto 4K and the CVBS shows PAL 704 x 576 resolution images.
5  I have lost mouse control and OSD icons from the HDMI monitor output of my TVI DVR ! how to I get them back ?
Connect a test monitor to the BNC monitor output of the DVR, enter the OSD menu of the DVR and go into the configuration sub menu, on the top left corner of the screen click on the option more settings and inside you will see an option labelled menu output mode, change this to HDMI apply the settings change and then reboot the DVR.
6  How many VCA events can I enable on a TVI HUHI DVR ?
A 7200 series HUHI DVR can handle a maximum 2 VCA rules across its input channels and a 7300 series can handle as many VCA rules as there are available per channel and across all channels.
7  How do I switch from full screen view to multi screen view using the remote control from local output ?
Using the remote control it is possible to bring any camera up full screen by pressing the required channel number on the remote control, to view your cameras in split screen view simply press the PREV button repeatedly to scroll through all available split screen options stopping on the one you wish to display.
8  Can my DVR support a DS-1006KI Keyboard?
It depends on the model of your Recorder. It needs to have a KB socket for it to accept an RS485 Keyboard Connection. This can be found at the back of the unit, typically adjacent to the Alarm Input connections.
9  How do I assign cameras to live view on the recorder
GUI4: Go to System, Live view and select the output in question and set the live view mode to the grid view of your desire (1x1, 2x2, 3x3, etc) Then go to view and select what cameras you want to display o the output
GUI3: Go to Menu, Configuration, Live view and select the live view mode then go to view and select what cameras he wants to display on the output.
10  What is the RTSP path for my TVI DVR?

<username>: a valid user’s username.
<password> :user’s password.
<ip> :the IP address
<port >:the default port is 554.
<channelNo> :the channel number.
<main> :the stream type. either "main" or "sub"
