3  My IPC has poor night time performance
things to check
1, is it a dome camera?, if so then make sure the outer and inner dome lid is free from dirt and grime, this can often build up over time and prevent the IR from working correctly, simply clean both in the inside and outside of the dome lid with a soft lint free cloth and replace if the problem persists contact us
2, is the view overly dark around the outer image? make sure no foreground items are intercepting the IR light this could be a section of wall in view, a bush or tree or the top of a soffit bear in mind these things can be just out of view of the image on some cameras but still effect the IR performance, in this case re angle or move the camera to avoid the reflecting item
4  Can I set a standalone IPC to Time Lapse record?

change the "Percentage of Picture" to 75 and "Percentage of Record" to 25
Then select your SD card from the list and click "Format"
Once completed goto
Configuration>Storage>Schedule Settings>Capture>Capture Schedule

Lastly goto
Configuration>Storage>Schedule Settings>Capture>Capture Parameters
