FAQs
1  Will my Nano Beams / Ligo Waves work via the PoE ports on the rear of my NVR
Both will work however they will still require the included PoE injectors to power your wireless device
Ideally the IP address of your wireless devices will want to be in the same range as the PoE (default 192.168.254)
if is a simple 1 IPC over a link back to the recorder, then "plug and play" should work fine
If you have more than 1 IPC to the back of the recorder then each of your IPC's must have their IP address assigned manually to the position on the NVR you want them to appear
2  Things to consider when installing Nano beams / Ligo waves
1, Line of sight is preferable when using these devices, if no line of sight is available the quality in signal strength can differ wildly the lower the signal the lower the bandwidth achievable by each link
2, Output power, if you are using these links over shorter distances i.e 100/200m etc then output power of each side of the device should be reduced to prevent over shooting and incurring interference from other sources, both type of devices have Realtime monitors built in that should help you adjust the power to achieve the best for your install
3, PoE, both Ligo waves and Nano beams use 24v PoE (injectors included) these will not power from a standard PoE switch or the rear of a NVR
4, Firmware, make sure all connected wireless devices are on the same version of the Firmware as this can sometimes cause problems
