1 I’m inputting the IP Address of my Recorder into my Web Browser but its not working, why not?
This can be caused by a few different things. First, double check the IP address in the recorder or in SADP to make sure its correct. Secondly, check your HTTP port via the Recorder, or in SADP. If its different from the default of 80, you will need to end your IP address with a colon, followed by the different port. On internet explorer you will also need to preface your IP with http://.
2 Where do you enter the stream encryption key on the recorder’s web front end?
To enter the stream encryption key you must go to configuration, network, advanced settings, platform access and then copy the stream key. Next you go to the local menu and then enter the stream key where it says “encryption key” and then go to live view and you will have your images.
3 IVMS-4200 forces me to use the newer web frontend based remote configuration can this be changed?
If you hold "ctrl" on your keyboard when clicking "Remote Configuration" it will load the traditional menu that uses port 8000 and doesn’t require port 80 to be open to function remotely
4 Ivms-4200 V3 how do I access vehicle search for my ANPR camera
Make sure on installation you tick the "Data retrieval and Statistics" box as this is not selected by default
You can now search for plates via the Data Retrieval tab
