1 What are the power requirements for the ML600 magnetic lock ?
The ML600 uses approx 5.8 Watts, it can be connected to a 12V DC or 24V DC power supply and will consume 480mA at 12V DC and 240mA at 24V DC.
2 What is the maximum current I can pass through the door release relay of DS-KV8X02-IM and DS-KD8002-VM outdoor stations?
Each model can pass a maximum of 1A through its door release relay output for connected mag-lock power.
3 How to add intercoms onto Hikconnect application.
To add the intercoms onto Hikconnect you first of all register an account then scan the QR code on the back of the Main indoor station.
4 How to wire magnetic lock to outdoor unit.
You connect DR_COM to + on the PSU, - on the PSU to - on the magnetic lock then + on the magnetic lock to DR_NC.
5 Where do i wire the push to exit button on intercoms.
The push to exit buttons are wired into Alarm Input 1 and GND on the outdoor station.
6 How many sub modules can I have on the modular intercoms
The maximum number of sub-modules is as follows:
Max nametag modules: 8;
Max keyboard modules: 1
Max indicator modules: 1
Max card modules: 5
Max display modules: 1
The maximum number of any combination of modules is 8 but if it includes the display module, the maximum is 5.
