Hard wired remote control IR extender via RS485 for use with the EZH range of DVRs
The Vi-K1 allows Videoswitch digital recorders (DVRs) to be controlled via a twisted pair link from a remote location such as another part of a building. A built-in balun allows video to be transmitted via a twisted pair connection from the DVR so that a video monitor may be connected to the Vi-K1. Together with self-powering this means that a simple CAT5 connection is all that is required for connection of the keyboard and monitor to a DVR. Multiple Vi-K1 keyboards may be cascaded if more control points are required.
The Vi-K2 joystick keyboard may be used to control domes either directly or via a Videoswitch digital recorder (DVR). Dual dome outputs are provided so two types of domes may be controlled from the same keyboard. Optional star expanders are available to allow domes to be wired to individual RS485 outputs (recommended).
